Leyton-Palma Lawyers was founded in 2010 by Doris Leyton-Palma, its Principal Lawyer.

Doris has practiced law in Australia for over 17 years and is a highly skilled family law practitioner.  She studied law at the University of Melbourne and completed her studies in 2002.  She undertook her practical legal training at the Victoria Government Solicitor's Office where she practiced as a lawyer for the next 5 years.  She then moved to the Office of Public Prosecutions where she practiced in various areas of criminal law including attempted murder, aggravated burglary and sexual offences.  She also worked as a Senior Solicitor in the Court Advocacy Unit of the Department of Health and Human Services and appeared regularly at the Children's Court in child protection cases.

In early 2007 she was offered the opportunity to run the family law practice of Neal Collin Lawyers in Berwick, a long standing local legal practice.  She was then asked by the then owner of Wollerman Shacklock Solicitors to run and manage their family law practice.  That firm was also an established local legal practice.

As Doris gained further respect and recognition within her local community and peers, she moved to establish her own legal practice in Berwick, Leyton-Palma Lawyers.

In 2019 Doris completed her Masters of Laws specialising in family law.

Through her years of experience and her passion in the practice of family law, Doris has served hundreds of clients in the breakdown of their marriage.  Her experience in family law includes family violence, intervention orders, parenting arrangements, relocation of children, spousal maintenance, bankruptcy, mortgage repossession, businesses and trusts and all other parenting and property family law disputes.

Doris also offers legal services in the preparation and drafting of wills, estate planning, probate and letters of administration, as well as in Powers of Attorney.
